Where It All Began
Legado Foundation began with a simple but powerful conviction.
As Lore became a mother, she developed a deep compassion for children—especially those growing up in poverty and vulnerable circumstances—and for the women who care for them. What started as a personal burden soon became a calling to draw near, listen, and walk alongside families facing some of life’s greatest challenges.
Through these relationships, she came to understand that behind every need is a story, and behind every story is a person worthy of dignity, care, and hope.
Over time, small acts of service grew into a larger mission: supporting children and families through education, wellbeing, and community, creating opportunities for lasting transformation.
Today, Legado Foundation continues to grow with the same purpose that inspired its beginnings: serving children and families with love, dignity, and an unwavering commitment to those who need it most.
